This approach was designed to\u00a0maximise the size of the calendar (important for legibility) but also to\u00a0keep mail distribution costs low.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CH2 system allows for\u00a0flexible layout options, and in this case\u00a0calendars set out in 3 vertical blocks were specified, corresponding to the 3 panels of a folded A4 sheet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Council&#8217;s in-house design team generated an initial &#8220;shell&#8221; template, and CH2\u00a0configured the\u00a0system to produce\u00a0calendar inserts with matched colours and fonts (see example opposite) to merge with the shell at print production\u00a0to produce a seamless end result.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A custom key layout was also developed as an option, placing the key in a vertical block in the bottom left hand panel of the shell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this case, the Council had used the CH2 calendar service\u00a0before and returned again the following year for updated calendars, this time\u00a0in a new layout.
